Here is an outstanding Pararaucaria cone from the Jurassic of Argentina. This cone has been removed from the surrounding matrix so that it can be viewed from all angles. The cone is preserved in an extremely 3-dimensional manner and exhibits wonderful detail. The individual cone scales are beautifully displayed. The stem attachment point is easily seen and the very tip of the cone is intact. This is an outstanding Pararaucaria cone from Argentina.
