Here is an excellent fossil plant. This is Sequoia sp. (Redwood) from the Oligocene of Montana. There are several extremely long branches on this plate and most are wonderfully complete to the very tips. This fossil shows very good detail - the individual leaflets are beautifully displayed. The fossil plant has excellent color and contrast and is well positioned on the natural, rectangular plate. This is a great specimen of Sequoia foliage from the Oligocene.
