This is a very nice display fossil. It is a striking plate of fossil fern fronds from Pennsylvania. This specimen is replaced with the mineral Pyrophyllite, which gives the fossils treir stunning white color. The distinct ferns have great detail and contrast strikingly with the black matrix plate. The large slab displays beautifully on the large custom metal stand (included). This is a very displayable multiple plate of fossil plants and stand from the Coal Age.
