Here is a screamin' rare fossil plant from the Eocene of British Colombia. This specimen was recently acquired from a major fossil collection. This airborne fruiting body is very dark in color and exhibits excellent venation of the "wing". One can almost imagine this fruit "helicoptoring" down in front of them. This is a very collectible fossil plant from the Canadian Rockies.
