Stock Number  FPFMO401
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Fossil Seed Fern Fronds in Concretion
Age:  Pennsylvanian
Formation:  Braidwood Formation
Location:  Johnson County, Missouri
Size:  Concretion is 2.65 inches long

This is a very nice multiple seed fern specimen from the Pensylvanian of Missouri. The fossils are preserved in a siderite concretion, and both halves of the concretion are present, so you receive both part and counterpart of the fossil. There are three seed fern fronds displayed in the concretion, which is quite unusual. The fossils have excellent detail preserved and great natural color and contrast. This is a very collectible specimen that exposes three fossil fern fronds in the same concretion.
