Trochodendron Leaf

Size: Leaf is 2 inches long
Here is a wonderful Trochodendron leaf from the Paleocene of North Dakota. The leaf has very good natural color and contrast. The detail is excellent - the distinct venation is easily seen. There are also several other leaves on the matrix plate. The fossils are all nicely presented on the large, semi-squared slab. This is a very fine specimen of Trochodendron from a now-closed location in North Dakota.
