This is a very unusual fossil leaf. It is a large unidentified leaf from the Eocene of Utah. This distinct leaf is wonderfully displayed and exhibits outstanding detail. The dentate margins of the leaf are intact, and the venation of the leaf is just outstanding. The dark-brown color of the leaf contrasts beautifully with the light-colored matrix. The leaf is well showcased on the semi-squared plate of shale. This is a fabulous specimen of this cool fossil leaf.
