This is a very unique specimen of Zelkova nervosa (Keaki Tree Leaf) and Cardiospermum coloradensis (Balloon Vine) from the Green River Formation. The Zelkova nervosa (left) is complete and displays well. On the right is a fine specimen of Cardiospermum coloradensis. This interesting lobed leaf is quite distinct in appearance. The fossil leaves have great detail and wonderful natural color preserved. The plants are nicely spaced on the natural-edged plate of matrix. This is an unusual association of two distinct leaves from Colorado.
