Very Unusual Plate with SIX Examples of Walchia

Size:  Plare is 3.1 inches tall

This is a rare Permian plant fossil. It is a grouping of SIX Walchia branches from Germany. Walchia is a fossil conifer, cypress-like plant found in Europe and North America. This specimen was found in the classic Branchiosaurus beds of Germany. All six specimens have great detail preserved and are well showcased on the natural plate of shale. This is a very fine multiple example of unusual Walchia conifer branches.
