Size: Leaf is almost 3 inches long
This is an extremely scarce Eocene leaf. It is a large Celastrophyllum emarginatum leaf from Utah. This type has a distinctly serrated border - this specimen showcases this feature beautifully. The venation is preserved, and the dark, natural color is quite striking. The leaf is wonderfully showcased on the large matrix plate that also includes a few insects and a Mimosites leaf. This is a very collectible example of this rare Green River leaf - only the second example of this type we have ever had.
