Here is an extremely fine Pecopteris penneaformis fern frond from the Coal Age. This distinct plant is from the Pennsylvanian of Poland. There is a very nice, large fern frond on the slab. The frond exhibits excellent detail. The slender stem is easily seen, and the individual leaves are clearly defined. The fossil plant has a distinct, dark coloration and contrasts wonderfully with the grey shale. This is a very displayable specimen of this unique fossil plant from Poland.
