Here is a wonderful association of Green River Fossils. There is a fine Zelkova nervosa (Keaki Tree Leaf) and Large Cricket preserved on the plate. The distinct Zelcova leaf is complete and exhibits fine detail. The serrated margins are intact, and the distinct venation of the leaf is easily seen. The short, stout petiole is intact and attached to the leaf. The Cricket is also extremely detailed, especially under magnification. There is also another leaf in the center of the plate. The fossils have great color and superb contrast and are well showcased on the rectangular block of matrix. This is a rare fossil with a great representative of both the Plant Kingdom and Animal Kingdom!
