This is a rare fossil leaf. It is a LARGE Juglans taurina (Walnut) Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has good detail preserved - the venation and natural shape are clearly seen. The fabulous dark color makes for a striking display. The beautiful leaf is well showcased on the large, squared plate of shale. This is a very large fossil Walnut leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
