This is a very rare fossil leaf. It is a wonderful Juglans taurina (Walnut) Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This huge specimen has great detail preserved - the venation and unusual reticulation are clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The beautiful leaf is well showcased on the large. semi-squared plate of shale. This is a very fine fossil Walnut leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
