This is a very nice fossil leaf. It is a beautiful Ficus sp. (Fig) Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has great venation preserved that is very clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The large leaf is well showcased on the semi-oval plate of shale. This is a wonderful fossil Fig leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
