Size:  Plate is 5.5 inches across

This is a fabulous fossil leaf. It is a beautiful Ficus sp. (Fig) Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has a great ovoid shape - the reticulation and venation are very clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The large leaf is well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale that also contains a rare, 3-D fossil branch! This is a wonderful fossil Fig leaf and branch from an unusual location in Montana.
