Pair of Unusual Fossil Leaves from Utah
Stock Number  FPUMU14
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Leguminosites lesquereuxi, Allophylus flexifolia
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Green River Formation
Location:  Bonanza, Utah
Size:  Plate is 6.3 inches across

Here is a very unusual plate of leaves from the Eocene of Utah. There are two leaves on this slab of Green River Shale. The leaf on the left is Allophylus flexifolia, the one on the right is Leguminosites lesquereuxi. These leaves have very nice detail and shape preserved. Both of these plant fossils have very nice color and contrast wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. They are well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a fine multiple plate of distinct leaves from the Green River Shale.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
