Location:  Glendive, Montana
Size:  Leaf is 1.2 inches long

This is a very distinct fossil leaf. It is a RARE Planera microphylla Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has great lanceolate shape - the strange venation is very clearly seen. The light color makes for a striking display. The beautiful leaf is well showcased on the semi-squared plate of shale. This is a very uncommon fossil leaf from an unusual location in Montana.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
