This is a very detailed fossil leaf. It is a beautiful Viburnum asperum Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This large specimen has great shape - and the serrations and venation are very clearly seen. The wonderful coloration makes for a striking display. The large leaf is well showcased on the semi-squared plate of shale. This is a fine fossil leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
