This is a very uncommon fossil leaf. It is a nice Ampelopsis acerifolia Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has great elongate shape - the venation and petiole are also clearly seen. The natural color makes for a striking display. The beautiful leaf is well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a very unusual fossil leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
