This is a very distinct fossil leaf. It is a wonderful Phyllites disturbans Leaf from a new find in the Paleocene of Montana. This specimen has great shape - the reticulation and strong venation are clearly seen. The fabulous color makes for a striking display. The beautiful leaf is well showcased on the rectangular plate of shale. This is a very unusual fossil leaf from an unusual location in Montana.
