This is a very rare fossil. This plate contains a long branch containing EIGHT valved seeds. The seeds are connected to the branch with short stems - this articulation is very unusual in the fossil record. The fossils have good color and contrast and are well displayed on the natural plate of shale. This is an extremely interesting and unusual specimen of fossil seeds from the Eocene of Utah.
