Size: Leaf is 4.8 inches long
This is a rare Eocene leaf. It is a large, Unidentified Leaf from the Green River Formation of Utah. This broadly triangular leaf has great detail preserved. The venation of the leaf is very clearly defined, and a long petiole is still tightly attached. The leaf has excellent color and contrast and is well centered on the squared plate of shale. This is a very nice example of this unusual leaf from Utah - the only example of this type we have ever seen.
