This specimen is unique in the fact that it shows a multi-branching limb. There are about ten fronds attached to the branch - this is a very rare occurrence. The branch has great color and wonderful contrast. The fossil is well centered on the natural plate of matrix. This is a superb display specimen of a full ''Dawn Redwood'' branch from the Oligocene.
