This is a very unusual plant fossil. It is a plate with very detailed Lepidodendron Bark preserved. This specimen showcases a very distinct example of Lepidodendron bark. The textbook diamond-shaped leaf scar pattern is wonderfully intact. The fossil has striking, natural red coloration that contrasts beautifully with the pink matrix. This is a very collectible plant fossil from the Coal Age of Poland.
