Beautiful Aleurites Leaf with Unique Shape Intact
Stock Number  FPUAL19
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Aleurites glandulosa Leaf
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Green River Formation
Location:  Bonanza, Utah
Size:  Leaf is 3.6" long including petiole

Here is a rare, beautiful leaf. This is a fabulous specimen of Aleurites glandulosa from the Green River Formation of Utah. This distinctly tri-lobed leaf is complete with slightly undulating margins - even the very tips of the lobes are intact. A very long petiole is still tightly attached, and the venation of the leaf is clearly defined - under magnification, the venation is very easily seen. The leaf has very good color and contrast and is wonderfully centered on the natural plate that also contains a smaller leaf. This is an extremely displayable example of this large, highly uncommon leaf from the Eocene.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
