Here is a nice specimen of a fossil fern from the famous Tonganoxie Sandstone of Kansas. This specimen was recently acquired from an old collection. The specimen has good color and contrast. The fern displays very fine detail. The specimen was collected in the 1970s. We have heard that this site has been closed to collecting for a number of years. This is a very detailed specimen of a fossil fern from the Pennsylvanian of Kansas.
