Here is a wonderful multiple example of Green River Leaves. There is a huge Rhus nigricans (Sumac) leaf and a fine Zelkova nervosa (Keaki Tree Leaf) on the plate. The large Sumac leaf is complete and exhibits fine detail. The serrated margins are intact, and the distinct venation of the leaf is easily seen. The short, stout petiole is intact and attached to the leaf. There is also a nice Zelcova leaf on the plate. The fossils have great color and superb contrast. The leaves are well centered on the rectangular block of matrix. This is an excellent multiple specimen of Zelcova and Sumac leaves from the Eocene of Utah.
