This is an unusual plant fossil. It is a rare Jurassic plant from China. This plant is from the Jurassic, the age of early birds and dinosaurs, meaning this plant could have been their food. This distinct specimen has good color and detail. And the back side of the plate has a complete fossil fish preserved! This is a nice example of this primitive fossil plant that just happens to have a fossil fish on the back side.
