This is a textbook specimen of Leguminosites lesquereuxiana from the Green River Formation. This complete, heart-shaped leaf is well displayed on the plate. The distinct leaf showcases the dimpled, emarginate tip that is typical of the species. The fossil has excellent color and contrast and is well presented on the natural plate of matrix. This is a very detailed specimen of Leguminosites from the Eocene of Utah.
