(White Cedar) sprig from the Eocene of British Columbia. It is very unusual to find such a complete branch. This large Cedar sprig exhibits fine detail - under magnification, the individual scale-like leaves are easily seen. This fossil plant has wonderful natural color and contrast. The branch is nicely showcased on the plate of shale that also contains a few other leaves. This is a great example of fossilized Cedar foliage.
