Here is a wonderful fossil cone from the Oligocene of Colorado. This specimen was found in Creede, Colorado by Steve Hess in 2003. The fossil cone has great natural color preserved. The individual cone scales are very ''crisp'' and beautifully displayed. This is a split pair fossil - the counterpart of the cone is also included. This is a very collectible fossil cone from Historic Colorado.
