Two Fine Willow Leaves on Natural Matrix Plate
Stock Number  FPUSA08
EXTINCTIONS Choice

Name:   Salix cockerelli (Willow)
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Green River Formation
Location:  Bonanza, Utah
Size:  Larger leaf is 3.75 inches long

This is a wonderful plate containing two Salix cockerelli (Willow) leaves from the Green River Formation of Utah. Both of these willow leaves are complete and still have the petioles tightly attached. The lance-shaped leaves exhibit the finely-toothed margins in outstanding fashion, and the venation of the leaves is easily seen. The fossil leaves have great color and contrast and are well presented on the natural slab of shale. This is a beautiful display plate of two Willow leaves from the Eocene.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.
