This is a very beautiful fossil seed fern from the Pennsylvanian of Germany. This fossil exhibits wonderful detail. The venation of the individual leaflets is easily seen. The very tip of the seed fern is preserved. The specimen has been prepared so that the fossil plant is in high relief. The seed fern has excellent color and contrast. It is wonderfully presented on a rectangular plate of matrix. This is a very displayable specimen of a Pennsylvanian seed fern that would look good in anyone's collection. This is a very aesthetic fossil plant specimen.
