This specimen was recently acquired from an old collection. The specimen was collected in the 1970s. This large fossil plant exhibits a multi-branching pattern with small leaves attached to the branches. The fossil has good color and contrast. It almost fills the semi-rectangular block of matrix. We have heard that this site has been closed to collecting for a number of years. This is a very displayable specimen of a unique fossil plant from the Pennsylvanian.
