Here is a specimen of a fossil seed from a Ginkgo tree. This specimen is from the Paleocene of North Dakota. The seed is preserved in a 3-dimensional manner. It has good color and contrast. It is well centered on the semi-rectangular piece of matrix. This is an interesting specimen of a Ginkgo seed.
