This is a gorgeous display plate with a fossil seed fern from the Pennsylvanian of Germany. This specimen has been prepared so that the fossil plant is in high relief. This articulated branch exhibits great detail. Even the tip of the frond is intact. The individual leaflets are quite evident and even the venation can be seen. The plant has excellent color and contrast. This is a museum-quality specimen of a fossil seed fern that would look great in anyone's collection.
