Here is a large frond of Parataxodium from the Paleocene of North Dakota. The frond has good color and contrast. It displays nice branching. There are several fossil leaves (One complete & one partial) on the same matrix plate. The fossils are all nicely presented on the large, displayable slab. On the reverse side of the plate is a nice Cyclocarya samara and several partial leaves. This is a fine large specimen of Parataxodium from a now-closed location in North Dakota.
