This seed fern nodule was obtained from an old collection. Both halves of the concretion are present. This is an unusual type of seed fern. The seed fern exhibits fine detail. The fossil has good color and contrast. This is a very nice example of a fossil seed fern from the Pennsylvanian of Illinois.
