Nice Multiple Fossil Seed Ferns With Annularia From Missouri
Stock Number  FPFMI01

Name:   Unidentified Fossil Seed Ferns & Annularia sp.
Age:  Pennsylvanian
Formation:  Braidwood
Location:  Johnson County, Missouri
Size:  Nodule is 2.5 inches across.

This is a very nice seed fern specimen from the Pensylvanian of Missouri. The fossils are preserved in a siderite concretion. Both halves of the concretion are present, so you receive both part and counterpart of the fossil. There are three separate seed fern fronds displayed in the concretion. There is also a specimen of Annularia sp. preserved in the nodule. The fossils have excellent color and contrast. This is an interesting specimen that exposes two different plant types in the same concretion.
