Populus Leaf With Unusual Seed Branch From Utah

Location:  Near Bonanza, Utah
Size:  Seed Branch is 1.9 inches long.

This is a very rare fossil. The plate contains a Populus leaf and, also, a long branch containing many seeds. The seeds are connected to the branch with short stems. The fossils have good color and contrast. They are well displayed on the natural plate of shale. This is an extremely interesting and unusual specimen of fossil seeds from the Eocene of Utah.
