This is a very affordable specimen of Platanus wyomingensis, a sycamore leaf, from the Green River Shale of Colorado. The serrated margins of the leaf are quite distinct. The leaf displays strong venation. The leaf retains the complete petiole. The fossil has very nice color and contrast. It is well positioned on the natural plate of shale. This is a very attractive fossil sycamore leaf from the Eocene.
