Size: Leaf is 5.2 inches long including petiole.
This is a gorgeous specimen of Populus cinnamomoides from the Eocene of Utah. The specimen exhibits great detail. The venation of the leaf is fantastic. The dentate margins are easily seen. The long, complete petiole of the leaf is present. This leaf has terrific color and contrast. It is almost perfectly centered on the natural slab of matrix. A small fossil beetle is also present on the slab. This is a beautiful fossil leaf.
