Size: Seed is a little over 0.5 inches long including stem.
This is an excellent unidentified fossil seed from the Eocene of Utah. The seed exhibits great detail. The multiple bracts of the seed are well displayed. The seed has great color and contrast. It is well centered on the natural plate of matrix. There is, also, a nice unidentified insect on the same plate. This is a very nice specimen of a valved seed from the Green River Formation.
