Two Poplar and Zelkova Leaves from Utah
Stock Number  FPUPO702

Name:   Poplar and Zelkova Leaves
Age:  Eocene
Formation:  Green River Formation
Location:  Bonanza, Utah
Size:  Plate is 9 inches across
Price:  SOLD

This is an extremely nice plant fossil. It is a fine pair of Populus wilmattae (Poplar) leaves from the Green River Formation of Utah. These heart-shaped leaves have a tight, branching base - the venation of the leaves is quite distinct and easily seen with the naked eye. The one LONG petiole is still tightly attached to the base of the leaf. There is also a small Zelkova nervosa and other leaves on the plate. This is a very collectible double specimen of Poplar and other leaves from the Eocene.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
