Here is an unusual fossil leaf. This is Leguminosites regularis from the Eocene of Utah. Only a handful of this particular species are found each year. This specimen exhibits very fine detail. The weak venation and long petiole are easily seen. The leaf has excellent color and contrast and is well centered on the squared plate of shale. This is a very nice example of this rare species of Leguminosites.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
