This is an extremely rare fossil cone from the Jurassic of China. This fossil plant is from the time of the dinosaurs! This specimen has great detail - the individual cone scales are easily seen. The eye-catching brown coloration is fully natural and simply striking. The cone is well showcased on the large, natural matrix plate that also contains a near-perfect insect fossil! (not pictured). This is a rare and collectible example of a Jurassic cone from China.
