Here is a very unusual plate of leaves from the Eocene of Utah. There are two leaves on this slab of Green River Shale. The leaf on the left is Allophylus flexifolia, the one on the right is Leguminosites regularis. These leaves have very nice detail and shape preserved. Both of these plant fossils have very nice color and contrast wonderfully with the light-colored matrix. The leaves are well showcased on the semi-rectangular plate of shale. This is a very fine multiple plate of distinct leaves from the Green River Shale.
A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
