Here is a very nice specimen of Leguminosites lesquereuxiana from the Eocene of Utah. This oval-shaped leaf is characterized by entire margins and an emarginate apex. These features are clearly defined on this specimen. The weak venation of the leaf is quite visible to the naked eye. This leaf still has the short petiole tightly attached. The leaf has good color and contrast. It is well centered on the plate of shale that also contains a partial Mimosites leaf. This is a fine example of a leaf from a fossil legume.

This fossil was collected and obtained legally, and is also being sold legally.

A Certificate of Authenticity from EXTINCTIONS is included with this specimen.
